Dr Gabriele Gallo studied Medicine at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy, where he graduated with the highest honours.
He trained as a general surgeon at the Martini Hospital and the University Medical Centre Groningen, successfully completing his training in 2024.
In addition, he obtained his doctorate in surgery from the University of Utrecht in 2023.
His ambition to continue developing and to provide the best possible care led him to Germany, where he began to study the treatment of Lipedema according to the Lipocura® concept. After training in Munich (Klinik Mednord) and Hamburg (Elbklinik), he returned to the Netherlands to put the Lipocura® concept into practice.
Since 2025, he has been working as a surgeon specialising in the treatment of Lipedema at LIPOCURA® in the Netherlands.
He is a member of the Dutch Association for Surgery (NVvH).
